A live financial benchmarking dashboard giving Atlas Van Lines agent operators real-time visibility into their own performance and how they stack up against peers — built for the twice-yearly Best Practices Group sessions.
The Challenge
Atlas Van Lines Best Practices Groups bring together a subset of agent operators twice a year to benchmark financial performance against their peers. The entire process ran on manual Excel spreadsheets — moderators had no real-time visibility, ratio calculations were done by hand, and agent operators had no way to see how they performed relative to their peers.
The Solution
Built a custom AI-powered Streamlit dashboard connected to Airtable — giving every agent operator live access to their own financials alongside group benchmarks so they can see exactly where they stand among peers. Historical data provides year-over-year context to support strategic business planning. Moderators use the dashboard during sessions to walk through performance, highlight areas for improvement, and surface action items backed by the numbers. The dashboard also lets users ask financial questions directly against their own data, getting instant answers without needing to dig through spreadsheets. And with the Custom Analysis Tool, users can go beyond the standard views — choosing from over 50 financial metrics to build their own comparisons on the fly and explore any question their data can answer.

Automated EDI 210 Invoice Pipeline
A fully automated overnight pipeline that converts TMS invoice exports into compliant EDI 210 files, corrects fuel surcharges using live DOE pricing, and handles 997 acknowledgements — cutting 6+ hours of manual billing work per week.
The Challenge
Converting freight invoices from their TMS into EDI 210 format was done entirely by hand — manual fuel surcharge lookups, CSV reformatting, and SFTP uploads. With 4 invoices per week across 4 branches, the process consumed hours of billing staff time and introduced errors that triggered costly rejections and delayed payment by days.
The Solution
Built an end-to-end automated pipeline that detects new invoice exports from Google Drive, corrects fuel surcharges using live DOE diesel pricing against the actual delivery date, and routes invoices through a single Excel approval step. After approval, the system generates fully-compliant EDI 210 files and transmits them overnight via SFTP — with full 997 acknowledgement processing that flags rejections in plain language rather than raw EDI error codes.
